It is just me, or has Hulu started to suck? Well, now we know why - they were getting ready to charge us to get the good stuff. While that seems bad, it does have a plus - now you'll be able to access Hulu for $9.99 a month on almost any device that connects to the net.
Yes, that's right iPad and iPhone users, there will be an app for that. There is one now, if you can get into the beta testing. Likely, Android, Blackberry Windows Mobile 7 and and other iPhone-like devises will likely be next in line.
According to Hulu, for their fee users will get the full current season from the ABC, NBC and FOX networks. They list current favorites, like Family Guy, but also past hits like Angel.
In addition to Apple's hand-held devises, Hulu will also be ready to go on Samsung's app ready TVs and Blu-ray players, VIZIO's TVs and Blu-ray players, Sony's PlayStation, TVs and Blu-ray players, and X-Box. Of course, it will still work on computers.
While it would seem that their ads were doing well for them, maybe their greed will get them more money. They will need to get some more networks before they can be a real challenge to cable, but with the economy going south maybe this will be the cheap alternative that puts a dent in the wallets of other carriers.
