The United States literally invented the industry, yet it is behind in nearly every way. How can China, India, Hungary, Romania, Russia, Canada, and a host of other “builders” know something that we don’t?

The NY Times reported today that over 49 million homes in the US receive municipal water that is contaminated with pollutants at levels that far exceed Safe Drinking Water Act standards. The pollutants range from arsenic to radium to dry cleaning solvent. Some water systems were found to contain high levels of dangerous bacteria from human sewage. Many of the violations continued unchecked since 2004, and possibly much earlier.
